Creative Movement
A program developed for the young dancer that focuses on coordination and rhythm. Students are exposed to ballet terminology, stretching to develop flexibility.  While the students are exposed to the technical names, the exercises are explained in terms the young dancers will remember.

Level I
A program developed for the young dancer that focuses on coordination and rhythm and execution of simple tasks. The use of terminology becomes more apparent. The class uses movement to explore how ideas become actions. While the students are exposed to the technical names, the exercises are explained in terms the dancers will remember.

Level 2
A continuation of Level 1 that incorporates more complicated choreography and more use of technical terms.  Students in this level act as models for our Level 1 students.  More intricate movements are introduced and dancers are expected to build upon knowledge that they have learned previously.

Level 3
A more advanced program that continues training on coordination, rhythmic expression and execution of technique.  Terminology is frequently used and demonstrated.  Beginning at this level, all students will be evaluated for participation in the Tangible Dance Project.

Level 4
This is a class offered to students who have mastered Level 2 terminology and technique.  This class delves into deeper understanding of the finer points of dance.  Students learn fine muscle control and advanced techniques and terminology.  With Director permission, students may begin pre-pointe or pointe at this level.  All students will be evaluated for participation in the Tangible Dance Project.

Level 5

This is the most advanced level of study.  Students have shown a deep commitment to dance and the mastery thereof.  Comprehensive understanding of terminology and technique are expected at this level.  Students will be challenged to master fine muscle movements as well as show exceptional control and performance of proper technique.  Pointe is required at this level.  All students will be evaluated for participation in the Tangible Dance Project.
